Thought there may be some interest out there. Plan on getting out another Altoona Disc Golf email soon. Eric What are you doing this Saturday? You ought to be coming out to the beautiful College Lodge disc golf course in Indiana and playing in a one-day PDGA D-tier disc golf event! The leaves will be in full color, the disc golf competition will be hot, and the first 40 players registered will get a two-disc player package sponsored by Gateway Disc Sports. Entry fees are low ($20), even lower for IUP I-card holders ($15) and rock bottom low for women ($0...that's right zero dollars!) Two rounds of 18 holes, prizes for Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, Longest Putt, trophies and medals for division and collegiate winners, and the awarding of the Pennsylvania Collegiate Cup to the college or university with the best four student/alum scores. Plus, we will begin raffling off a one of a kind item -- a black and gold Steelers' "Terrible Target" All the details are on the attached flyer. I'm interested in writing a story about disk golf at Penn State because it seems to be pretty popular nowadays. I'd love to talk to some students here who are avid disc golf players. And also, do you know if groups of students gather regularly for disc golf? Let me know if you are interested in talking about the sport. Thanks so much, Tess
