PDGA ALERT FOR MEMBERS - February 24, 2007

PDGA RADIO NEWS IS BACK, AND, COMING SOON, PDGA RADIO 'PODCASTS'!
http://www.pdgaradio.com

Come on over and listen to the first of this season's broadcasts by
Brian Sullivan. Listen at work, if you can, and show your work buddies
what a professional sound Brian puts on disc golf reporting. Week of
February 21: Results from the Z Boaz Open in Ft. Worth, Texas; Al
'Sugar' Schack will help you drive further into a headwind in the
60-Second Clinic; a preview of this weekend's Gentleman's Club Challenge
in Vegas; and PDGA Tour Manager David Gentry tells us what's on tap for
the 2005 National Tour.

RENEW YOUR PDGA MEMBERSHIP
http://www.pdgastore.com

Your membership dues support a lot of disc golf initiatives, and PDGA
Radio News is just one of them. Plus, if you haven't renewed yet, you're
not going to get sent the forthcoming issue of DGWN, another membership
benefit.

PDGA BOARD SUMMIT - SCOTTSDALE, AZ - MARCH 1-3

This is only one of two occasions that your board of directors meets
face to face each year. We enjoy visitors at the PDGA Summit - anyone
may come to most of the meeting, which closes only for a few sensitive
and confidential discussions but is 90%+ open to all.

The board is holding its summit at the Executive Suites in Tempe, AZ,
near the course for the Memorial. We meet most of all day on Tuesday and
Wednesday, March 1-2, and in the morning on Thursday, March 3. We are in
the Seville room for those meetings and the address is 1635 N.
Scottsdale Road.

There is a special period scheduled for members to comment to the board,
also, on Thursday evening after our doubles. Because we are meeting in a
different location this year, where we will be Thursday evening is not
yet decided as we are trying to make it a very accessible space. If
anyone has problems contacting us or finding the location, just call me
(Terry Calhoun) on my cell phone: 734.883.4407.

FANTASY DISC GOLF
http://www.fantasydg.com/

Ince again, Jon Van Deurzen (PDGA #14324) is hosting fantasy disc golf
on his website. Choose the players you think will finish in the Top 4 at
top tournaments each weekend and compete against others by collecting
points.

DISC GOLF IN THE NEWS

The Calvert Flyers were featured in a Washington, DC TV station news
show and Randy Orloff, who is not yet a PDGA member (We're working on
him.) says that if you go here - http://68.55.61.192/dg - then "right
click on SportsPlus01905.mpg and choose save as . . . then, remembering
where you save it, click on the file.

PDGA NATIONAL TOUR
http://www.pdgatour.com/

Next weekend, The Memorial, in Scottsdale, AZ. Check it out -
http://www.pdgatour.com/events/01/

The Professional Disc Golf Association is proud to present the 2005
National Tour. This year's tour has grown to fourteen events, each of
which exemplifies the professionalism, dedication, and enduring spirit
of our increasingly popular sport. In addition, three United States
Championship events will serve as the National Tour Finals for the Open,
Masters and Women's divisions. Together, these events continue to be
amongst the largest and richest of all PDGA Tour events, making each a
destination for touring professionals and spectators alike.
