[HVDG] Good News for Circleville Park Disc Golf

Happy Valley Disc Sports Enthusiasts,

The Happy Valley Disc Golf Club (HVDGC) appreciates all of the support from
the loyal disc sports players in Happy Valley in making the disc golf course
at Circleville Park a reality.  With the positive results of of an on-line
survey and activities, the Patton Township Recreation Advisory Committee has
decided to continue development of disc golf and pursue the addition of six
more holes at Circleville.

Patton Township, with the support of the HVDGC, is applying for a grant from
the PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to help fund
Circleville Park improvements and the disc golf course.  The HVDGC is
supplying demographic information from an on-line survey to show that disc
golf is adding a regional following to a township owned park.  This aspect
is considered very important to the DCNR and will help Patton Township
secure the grant and make Circleville Park and the disc golf course a
growing and exciting attraction for the Centre region.

If you have played the course and haven't filled out a survey, please follow
the link below and follow the directions.  If you haven't played the course
yet, get out there and have some fun this weekend and after your round visit
the link below and let us know what you think.  We will be submitting the
final results to Patton Twp. and the DCNR next week, so get your survey
filled out by Tuesday, October 8th.
