State College Disc Sports Supporters,

Although I'm glad to see that our frisbee community is a proud gathering of politically and socially active individuals, please don't be offended that the list admins have decided to enact the emergency moderation of all traffic on the statecollegediscsports.org lists.  We apologize if any responses didn't get acknowledged or if any of you feel that one particular viewpoint was given equal expression on this forum.

The intent and purpose of these lists are fully described on the public information pages available on statecollegediscsports.org and the general information pages for these mailing lists.

Once again, this pre-emption is to prevent a "flamewar" and to maintain the central purpose of these lists.  The SCUL list will continue to be moderated and will be "off" until the league begins activities again next spring.  Emergency moderation on all other statecollegediscsports.org lists (HVDG and HVU) will end next week.  This means that until next Tuesday, the list admins will be responsible for checking that content adheres to the list objectives.
