[HVDG] Groundbreaking at Circleville Park on Monday!

HVDGers,

On Monday, May 17th, Patton Twp. workers will break ground on the
demonstration course at Circleville Park.  There will be three tees and pins
poured next week to be prepared for hardware to be installed about a week
after that.  I'll make an announcement when the pole holes will be ready to
play.  If you're available sometime between May 25th and the 31st, we may be
able to use a few helping hands with setting up the hardware.  We haven't
picked a date yet, but let me know if you're interested.

I'd like to send out a thanks to everyone who made the course a possibility.
A special thanks goes out to Jim Latten who got the ball rolling by making
first contact with Patton Twp and our officers.  Vice President Ron Jochen,
Secretary/Treasurer Curt Speaker, and Fundraising Chair Bruce Lord each
bought a pole hole for the new course and are also responsible for numerous
hours of planning and assistance for the new course.

If anyone would like to plan a club party at the park to celebrate the new
course and play a few rounds, let me know and we'll get it in the works.
